Organisation

The Senior Expert Chemists (SEC) have been a Division of the German Chemical Society since 2010. Updated bylaws came into force in June 2024. The General Assembly of the SEC takes place at least every two years – usually in conjunction with an annual meeting.

The SEC Board consists of five members and is supplemented by co-opted members. Ten working groups are currently focusing on various topics.
