6th SEC Annual Meeting in Münster: 18–20 May 2016

In 2016, too, we continued the successful SEC annual meetings. The venue was the historic university city of Münster. For our Conference, the large Physics Lecture Theatre HS 1 at Wilhelm-Klemm-Str. 9 was available to us. The annual meeting took place from:

18–20 May 2016

In 2016, too, the focus was on high-calibre lectures with particular relevance to senior chemists, presenting the latest developments in an accessible way (see “Lectures” below). In Münster, we placed particular emphasis on involving young chemists, especially in the form of posters.

In Münster, too, we invited senior chemists to present their “retirement” activities of any kind using posters. We had had good experience with this in Braunschweig ; there were often lively discussions in front of the posters, and participants were able to take many ideas home with them.

Link to the official GDCh Conference website for registration and the submission of contributions and posters. Flyer for the Conference to download.

A detailed report was published in ‘Nachrichten’: Nachr. Chem. 2016, 64, 923.

Many, but not all, lectures are available as PDFs. If you are interested, send an email to Wolfgang Gerhartz
