We produce the “Nachrichten” (our member magazine)
The Editorial staff of the ‘Nachrichten aus der Chemie’ is based at the GDCh office in Frankfurt. Four editors, a editorial assistant and a layout designer ensure that eleven times a year the ‘Nachrichten’ are filled with content and reach GDCh members on time.

Interns at “Nachrichten aus der Chemie” learn about the processes involved in the Editorial staff of a journal using a modern editorial system. They write their own articles, edit, conduct research, proofread, attend press events and independently manage individual sections.
Anyone wishing to undertake a compulsory or orientation internship at “Nachrichten aus der Chemie” should have knowledge of chemistry, biochemistry, chemical engineering or food chemistry, be a native German speaker and be able to write and understand English. “Nachrichten” interns are articulate, strong communicators and curious, and enjoy engaging with people.
An internship can last between six and eight weeks. More information from
