Awards & Honors


For her lecture entitled "The Colourful World of Aryl-Phosphinidenes", delivered at the 21st European Workshop on Pnictogen Chemistry in Innsbruck, Lisa Kreimer (Technical University of Munich) was awarded the Working Group's lecture prize on 21 February 2025.
Two further lecture prizes were awarded as part of the Spring Meeting of the GDCh Working Group Phosphorus Chemistry to Samantha Frank (Free University of Berlin) and Sotirios Pavlidis (Humboldt University of Berlin).

For your lecture entitled "The Long-Time Forgotten Polymer: Synthesis and Biological Applications of Modified Inorganic Polyphosphates", delivered at the Spring Meetings of the GDCh Working Group Phosphorus Chemistry in Dresden, Sandra Moser (University of Freiburg) was awarded the Working Group's lecture prize on 13 March 2023. Prof. J. Chris Slootweg (University of Amsterdam; on the left in the photo) and Dr. Marc-André Kasper (Tubulis GmbH, Planegg-Martinsried; right) presented the prize.

The Working Group Phosphorus Chemistry presented a lecture prize donated by Umicore on 21 March 2022 as part of its first annual conference in Saarbrücken. The prize went to Stephan Reichl, University of Regensburg (on the right in the picture) for his lecture entitled "Pentaphosphaferrocene Mediated Synthesis of Asymmetric Organo-Phosphines Starting from White Phosphorus". The prize was presented by Dr Angelino Doppiu, Umicore Precious Metals Chemistry, Hanau (on the left in the picture).
