Esslingen University – Chemical Engineering/Paints and Coatings
In the nationwide ranking conducted by the Centre for Higher Education Development (CHE) for the “Zeit-Campus” university courses guide 2019/2020, Esslingen University achieved outstanding results in several university courses. The Faculty of Applied Natural Sciences achieved very good results with the Bachelor’s university courses in Chemical Engineering/Paints and Coatings. Of the 26 higher education institutions in Germany offering Bachelor’s university courses in Chemical Engineering, 18 took part in the CHE ranking. Students from Esslingen rated the general study situation, course organisation, career guidance services and cooperation with industry as very good. This means that, with its university courses in Chemical Engineering/Paints and Coatings, Esslingen achieved the best rating among universities of applied sciences nationwide. The CHE ranking is the most comprehensive and detailed ranking in the German-speaking world. CHE examined more than 300 universities and universities of applied sciences. In addition to facts about study, teaching and research, the ranking includes students’ assessments of study conditions at their higher education institution.
