FiMC is the international annual conference series organised by the GDCh Division of Medicinal Chemistry. FiMC is aimed at everyone in industry and academia with an interest in medicinal chemistry, chemical biology and related fields.

Since 2022, all Frontiers in Medicinal Chemistry poster awardees have been invited to a job shadowing event. The event gives early-career scientists an insight into the working life of medicinal chemists in industry.

Since 2023, the Division has organised the MedChemCampus together with the Tübingen Center for Academic Drug Discovery (TüCAD2). The target audience is doctoral researchers, postdocs and “Young Professionals”. Case studies on current challenges in medicinal chemistry are presented and discussed.

MedChemCASES is an online seminar series launched in 2020 by the GDCh Division of Medicinal Chemistry, featuring case studies from industry and academic research.
The workshops of the Division provide forums for interaction. Researchers from industry and academia use the workshops to exchange experiences and discuss future challenges and current topics in the field of medicinal chemistry and drug discovery.
