Workshops for the self-employed

The main focuses of the workshops include business security and continuity and appeal to anyone interested in the topic. In addition to the perennial favourites of Marketing, advertising, customer acquisition and sales, topics such as cost control, company presentation and others are also offered.

The last workshop for self-employed professionals took place in Frankfurt am Main on Friday, 12 June 2026, 10:00–16:00, on the topic “The book as a marketing tool – How and for whom?". It was presented by Dr. Roswitha Harrer, Vogel Communications Group.

Registration is binding and takes place online. Cancellation is only possible in writing up to 14 days before the start of the event, subject to a cancellation fee of €15 . In the event of cancellation after this date, the full invoice amount will be due.

If it is an Online course, we will send you the access links a few days before the event.

Participation is independent of GDCh/FFCh membership and is also possible for non-self-employed professionals.

The workshops for self-employed people emerged from the “Forum for Self-Employed People”, which in turn evolved from a series of events under the title “Start-up Forum”. Initially, the topics were very specific to chemists who were either planning to become self-employed or had only recently become self-employed.
