Since 2000, the GDCh Division Environmental Chemistry & Ecotoxicology has awarded an annual prize for outstanding publications by early-career researchers.

GDCh-Umweltvorlesung

Since 2026, the Lecture Award has been presented alternately to more advanced early-career researchers and established scientists who give engaging presentations on socially relevant environmental chemistry and ecotoxicological questions in their field of research. The lecture series generally comprises four lectures.
