Enhanced collaboration in analytics

In 2003,

  • the Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (GBM),
  • the German Society for Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine (DGKL) and
  • the German Chemical Society (GDCh)

to form the Forum Analytik, with the aim of pooling the specialist analytical expertise of the three scientific societies, acting as a unified scientific body on topics relevant to analytics in science, research and teaching, and thereby lending greater weight to their positions.

Furthermore, the Forum Analytik organises the international analytica conference, which takes place every two years as part of the analytica trade fair in Munich. The analytica conference is a five-track event and features around 190 invited scientific presentations across a total of 45 sessions, as well as over 100 posters.
