The Gesellschaft Deutscher Chemiker (GDCh) and the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC) each show a long and distinguished history. Led by the presidents of both societies, this meeting will commemorate the 150th anniversary of the GDCh in 2017 and its longstanding relationship with the RSC. There will be talks on the two societies’ shared history, a scientific programme, the presentation of the Alexander Todd – Hans Krebs Lectureship, and a panel discussion on the future of the chemical sciences. more
