The Cover Feature illustrates the efficiency of two novel mono- and dimetallic tricarbonyl manganese(I) complexes with an acenaphthene-based iminopyridine ligand in electrocatalytic CO2 reduction reaction (CO2RR) and hydrogen evolution reaction (HER). It was found that the monomeric manganese complex is reduced in a ligand-centered manner and shows much higher efficiency in these reactions (TON, TOF, overpotential) compared to the metal-centered reduced dimeric MnI complex. More information can be found in the Research Article by V. V. Khrizanforova, Yu. H. Budnikova and co-workers (DOI: 10.1002/cctc.202500078).
